National Architecture Firm Renews Downtown Winter Haven Lease

Six/Ten purchased the Beymer Building in 2010, transforming the dilapidated downtown landmark into Class A office space and first floor retail.

Architectural and interior design firm C & K Architects|Interiors, Inc., (formerly Collman and Karsky Architects, Inc.) recently recommitted to remaining in Winter Haven by renewing its lease at the ground floor of the Beymer Building. Six/Ten, serving as landlord, handled the lease renewal and has worked with C & K on several of the area’s restored buildings and revitalization projects.

If you’re familiar with the TV show “How I Met Your Mother,” you might remember the episode “Mosbius Designs” (S4E20), where Ted Mosby, Architect (*wink*), starts his own firm. At the end of the episode, Ted reveals his apprehensions about striking out on his own, telling Robin the story of an architect who designs a library, only to find that it slowly sinks because he forgot to account for the weight of the books.
