Joe received his BBA in Business from the University of Mississippi, where he served as President of the Student Body, President of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and Vice President of the Interfraternity Council. He received his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from the IMCA program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
Joe retired in 2015 as the Chairman of The Bogdahn Group, an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm providing investment consulting services for institutional investors, advising over $60B in assets. In retirement, he has taken an active role with Six/Ten LLC, where he is a partner and Director, and is thrilled to help make Winter Haven an awesome place to live.
Joe serves on the local area Board for Platinum Bank and the GiveWell Foundation. He serves the Central Florida Development Council on their GAP (Growth and Prosperity) steering committee and is a member of the Polk County Housing Finance Authority. He is also a trustee for the Investment Committee for the City of Detroit’s Police and Fire Pension Fund. He is an active Presbyterian; is a past president of Rotary; and has served the Citrus Center Boys & Girls Club as a Board Member for over twenty years and as their Golf Tournament auctioneer for 17 years.
Joe lives in Winter Haven with his wife Heather, daughter Isabella and sons Garrison and Miles.
