Orthodontics Practice in Downtown Winter Haven
Six/Ten welcomes Ellis and Abramowitz Orthodontics to Downtown Winter Haven. The orthodontics practice relocated from its previous office in Lake Wales in order to incorporate several high-tech advancements, such as 3D digital diagnostics.

Breakwater Coaching, a marriage coaching, marriage intensives and women’s coaching service, has relocated from Lake Wales to downtown Winter Haven. Six/Ten completed a lease with the business for office space at Suites on Central, located at 331 W Central Ave.

Hap Hazelwood
Hap Hazelwood is passionate about supporting our local community, as demonstrated through his involvement in several Winter Haven associations. When he isn’t at the Six/Ten office peforming his duties as Chief Financial Officer, he serves on the boards of Habitat for Humanity of East Polk County and the Greater Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce. Actively involved in his church, Abiding Savior Lutheran, Hap has also done some preaching.

The Outer Space Gallery opens in Downtown Winter Haven

Six/Ten, LLC has made space available to the Arts Ensemble Education Foundation in one of its downtown buildings, in order to create the Outer Space Gallery. The project is an arts incubator that will serve as a fine arts gallery for the community and a place for artists to display their work.

The Outer Space Gallery is a partnership between Six/Ten, the Arts Ensemble Education Foundation, the Polk Museum of Art and Polk State College. The doors will officially open Thursday, June 30th with a ribbon cutting celebration.

The gallery is located at 230 Avenue C S.W. and will be available for the public to enjoy.

Legoland Florida Adds Customer Care Office in Downtown Winter Haven

Merlin Entertainments, the owner of the LEGOLAND® Florida Resort, announced plans to open their North American customer care office in Downtown Winter Haven. The new office will open this fall in Six/Ten, LLC’s Inland Fiber and Data Technology Park.

The office will bring more than 50 full time jobs to the area with plenty of additional office space to allow for growth. We anticipate that these new positions will also bring additional foot traffic to the restaurants, retailers and other businesses just steps away on Central Avenue. LEGOLAND®’s new North American customer care office further adds to our work-live-play concept downtown.

Limited, additional space is also available for lease in the technology park, in the same facility as the new customer care center. For more information, please contact Bud Strang.

Six/Ten LLC has completed a 2,000 SF lease to bring Mexican restaurant El Norteño to downtown Winter Haven. The restaurant has set up shop in the same space where Publix Supermarkets established its first store in 1930. It is located at 58 4th Street, NW and is now open for business.

Six/Ten purchased the Beymer Building in 2010, transforming the dilapidated downtown landmark into Class A office space and first floor retail.
Architectural and interior design firm C & K Architects|Interiors, Inc., (formerly Collman and Karsky Architects, Inc.) recently recommitted to remaining in Winter Haven by renewing its lease at the ground floor of the Beymer Building. Six/Ten, serving as landlord, handled the lease renewal and has worked with C & K on several of the area’s restored buildings and revitalization projects.

Six/Ten has joined more than 50 other investor organizations in partnering with the Central Florida Development Council (CFDC), Polk County’s primary engine for economic development. Six/Ten came on board with the CFDC about three years ago and has been active in the area with the renovation and redevelopment of dozens of properties in downtown Winter Haven.

Hillsborough Title to Office Lease Downtown
Six/Ten recently leased office space at 25 Third Street NW to Hillsborough Title, an independent title agency. The company relocated its operations from another area of Winter Haven to the space downtown. Six/Ten built out the space to suit Hillsborough Title’s requirements for an office space, with the first floor location also being a priority.

“As a growing Hillsborough Title location doing business as HomePlus Title, we knew we needed to find a better way to reach out to, and serve, our customers. The Mortgage Firm has joined several other companies at Six/Ten’s downtown office complex Suites on Central. With more than 22 branches around the state, The Mortgage Firm relocated its Winter Haven branch to an executive office space at 347 W. Central Ave.

Six/Ten’s Suites on Central occupies the second floor of Central Park Square in downtown Winter Haven. The historic building, originally completed in 1914, has undergone complete updates to its plumbing, air conditioning, electrical and elevator systems. Suites ranging from approximately 200 square feet to 4,000 square feet are available now.
